Report: Crowd violence mars Leeds United friendly

Austrian Police are investigating following crowd violence at the end of a Leeds United pre-season friendly. 25 fans - including three from Leeds - were arrested, and five people were injured.

Salzburg Police say the problems actually began when some fans of Leeds' opponents Frankfurt , on the way to the ground, refused to pay bus fares and stormed security at the stadium.

After the game, trouble flared again when Leeds fans went on to the pitch to meet the players - and then, according to Austrian police, were attacked by German rivals. Chris Dawkes, who is following the pre-season tour, sends this exclusive report:
