In a statement the club chairman said the time is right to spend more time at the club and finally realise his dream.

Pearson, appointed Executive Director at Leeds United by owner Massimo Cellino in May, left the position citing the need for a break as one of his main reasons.

Hull FC needs my complete attention, so that is what it will get, as we look to take care of some areas of the club in relation to supporters and corporate partners.

I evidenced first hand in Leeds how the two clubs, United and Rhinos, received huge commercial and corporate social responsibility backing from a wide range of companies in Leeds. It would be great if I could engage with some of our larger companies in Hull to obtain that same support for Hull FC.
