Four officers have been appointed by Nottinghamshire Police to help ensure the force continues to help reduce violence against women.
The four 'White Ribbon' ambassadors have been named as the campaign marks its annual awareness day. White Ribbon is a worldwide movement run by men who know that there is never an excuse for violence against women. They pledge never to condone it, or to stand by when they know it is happening.
The four ambassadors for Nottinghamshire Police are Detective Inspector Pete Quinn, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Gowan, Detective Chief Inspector Leigh Sanders and Sergeant Nigel Bradley.
