Assistant coach to leave Yorkshire Carnegie

Yorkshire Carnegie have announced that Assistant Coach Francis Cummins will leave the club by mutual agreement ahead of this Sunday's Greene King IPA Championship clash with Cornish Pirates at Headingley Carnegie.

Cummins joined the club last season on a consultancy basis before becoming a permanent member of Bryan Redpath's coaching team this season.

Cummins' current contract expires in May 2016 and with the club unable to offer a longer term deal at this stage, Yorkshire Carnegie have agreed to release Cummins to allow him to look at other options.

Redpath will now take sole responsibility for the backs as Head Coach.

There are no plans to add to the existing coaching team for the remainder of the season.
