Fishermen tackle government over industry issues

Fishermen from across the country have travelled to Yorkshire to meet government officials to discuss issues their industry faces.

They've told a delegation from DEFRA that rules on how many fish they can catch, and what happens when they end up with too many in their nets, has an impact on their livelihoods.

Some of those at the meeting say they hope it helps influence the debate on whether the UK remains part of the EU which makes so many of the rules fishermen have to follow.
