A man who committed online sexual offences against 24 children whilst posing as a fake casting agent for a modelling agency has been jailed for eight years.
The victims of 19-year-old David Harmes ranged in age from eight to 18 and included some from the Humberside police force area.
Harmes, formerly of Ellesmere Port, admitted 34 sexual offences following a joint operation run by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre and numerous police forces including Humberside Police.
He pleaded guilty to a range of offences, from taking indecent photographs to causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and asked for a further four offences to be taken into account,
He will serve a minimum of five years and will remain on the sex offenders’ register for life.
