The M1 in West Yorkshire has now re-opened northbound after a lorry jackknifed this morning.
The incident happened on J42 at Lofthouse.
Work is now taking place to repair the barrier.
Emergency services have not yet confirmed how many people have died in the collision, which happened just before 1am.
The roads around Yorkshire's tallest building are expected to remain shut until 10am.
The M1 is shut northbound J42 at Lofthouse, causing congestion on the M1 to J39 A636 (Wakefield / Durkar).
