Our region's finalists in this year's X Factor are getting ready to perform some George Michael classics on this weekend's live shows. Jack and Joel and Holly Tandy have both now reached the final 12 of the competition.
Jack and Joel, in the groups category, will perform Edge of Heaven. The duo, made up of Jack Remmington from Gainsborough and Joel Fishel from Leeds were told by Simon Cowell last weekend that people like them because they are fun.
Barnsley singer will perform One More Try hoping it will impress the public enough to send her through to week four of the competition's live shows.
The other good news for the finalists is that this weekend's double eliminations have now been cancelled. It was previously announced that two acts would leave the competition on Saturday and a further two acts would go on Sunday. Producers have now decided only one act we leave on each night.
The X Factor returns to ITV at 8:10pm on Saturday and 7:25pm on Sunday.
Barnsley singer Holly Tandy has been voted out of this year's X Factor. She was one of the two acts with the fewest votes on Sunday night.
