The Conservatives remain the largest party and hold a majority in Harrogate following yesterday's local elections.
Following a boundary review, the entire council was elected on Thursday with 40 seats being contested in 40 wards.
With more than half the seats declared, the Conservatives had enough seats to retain control.
New composition is as follows:
- Conservatives - 31
- Liberal Democrats - 7
- Independents - 2

There has been little shift in power across the Calendar region with Labour holding councils in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
