Leicester road closures for Diamond Jubilee street parties

With Diamond Jubilee street parties across the Midlands this weekend, you may find that some of your normal routes are closed.

So in order to plan your journey this weekend, here's a list of closures from Leicester City Council:

Holmfield Road (between Stoughton Drive North and Kimberley Road), 10am-6pm

Greenhill Road (between Queens Road and Lanseer Road), 11am-5pm

Western Park Road (from Mellor Road to number 57 Western Park Road), 8am-8pm

Northfold Road, 9am-7pm

Oakthorpe Road, 10am-2pm

Meadway, 10am-9pm

Astill Drive, 2pm-12midnight

Meadhurst Road, 1pm-10pm

Westmeath Avenue, 11am-4pm

Cross Road and Springfield Road (from Cross Road to Springfield Health Centre), 10am-7pm
