How baking is helping Birmingham youngsters steer clear of crime

In the last year alone, 19 young lives have been lost to gang and knife crime in the West Midlands.

The most recent victims were Azim Azam from Billesley and Joshua Ribera from Moseley. They both died of stab wounds within the space of a week.

In this special report, I've been finding out about a new approach by West Midlands Police which aims to prevent young people from getting involved in gang and knife crime. I've spoken to a former gang member, whose voice has been disguised to protect his identity.
