First it was early promotion and now Leicester City have secured the number one spot in the Championship - with two games remaining.

Lloyd Dyer was the man who scored the one and only goal to secure the three points for the Foxes, and that goal was all that was needed for them to be crowned the league champions.

Leicester were promoted to the Premier League earlier this month with six games still left to play after they beat Sheffield Wednesday and rivals Queen's Park Rangers lost to Bournemouth and Derby failed to beat Middlesbrough.

Leicester have been pretty much flawless all season. They have so far won 29 of their 44 games and have only lost six.

It has been a rocky few years for Leicester. In 2002, the club went into administration with debts of over £30 million. In 2004, they were relegated from the Premier League, and four years later they slipped to the third tier of football. But now, the party has well and truly started.

All that remains for Leicester is a trip to Huddersfield and a final day of the season home match against Doncaster.

After that, it is the Premier League, and the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
