Marmite Easter egg coming to a supermarket near you
Marmite-flavoured Easter eggs are to go on sale for the first time next month, in a move set to divide even the biggest fans of the love-it-or-loathe it spread.
Manufacturer Unilever has teamed up with chocolate maker Kinnerton to launch the product, which blends Marmite with chocolate.
The firms have also collaborated on a Pot Noodle egg - which won't taste of the snack.
Unilever’s Julie McCleave said:
Marmite eggs will go on sale in February and be priced at around £5 each.
Sales of Marmite, which was created in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in 1902, exceed £25million annually.
