Stoke-on-Trent pop-superstar Robbie Williams says he is proud to be able to show his children the streets in his home town that have been named after his songs.

Street signs named after some of Robbie's top hits are being unveiled in a new housing scheme in Stoke-on-Trent, developed by Sanctuary Group and Seddon, just down the road from where the chart-topping singer grew up.

The signs, which feature Candy Lane, Angels Way and Supreme Street, have been put in place by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and are the culmination of a whole host of activities which marked the megastar being granted Freedom of the City last year which coincided with his 40th birthday.

"I am so proud to be from Stoke-on-Trent and it's a real honour to have the streets named after my songs.

It's a wonderful legacy in my own home city and one that I am proud to be able to show my children one day."
