Police have spent nearly two hours trying to catch an escaped ostrich in a graveyard after it made a dash for freedom by jumping over a fence.
Officers were called to the village of Hurley, Warwickshire, after the "angry" bird tried to bite a retired policeman's dog on Tuesday.
The ostrich, called Colin, had been reported missing from a farm the previous day but had not been seen until a dog walker spotted him.
Two Warwickshire Police constables traced the animal, described as being "5 ft 6 inches, feathery and very angry" to a cemetery in the village.
After giving cops the run-around Colin was finally cornered in an outbuilding and was collected by his owner.
