Millergan Lowe from Thurmaston in Leicestershire has received a prosthetic hand made using a 3D printer.
The 7-year-old was born with only one fully functioning hand but received his bionic one in the post this week, from a charity in America.
An appeal on social media led to a company offering to help build him a new mechanical hand.
He was born with a rare condition called amniotic band syndrome which meant his fingers didn't develop on his left hand in the womb.
His family were offered a transplant on the NHS but decided against it because of the risks.
After an appeal on social media, a company in America got in touch and agreed to help.
It's early days but Millergan is keen to put his new hand to good use.
He's looking forward to learning to ride his bike and tie his shoe laces.
