A special school in Leicester, which has moved to a new £11m building, has officially been opened.
Ellesmere College, which has 240 pupils, is the only special school in the country to get a complete rebuild under the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
The new site boasts a top-class sports hall, a sensory room and an Internet cafe.
It was opened by Baroness Campbell of Loughborough, who chairs the Youth Sport Trust, the City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby and former Leicester City star Emile Heskey.
