Thirty thousand tickets go on sale for the Rugby World Cup this morning.

There are more opportunities to snap up tickets for the opening ceremony, while tickets are still available for all three games at the Leicester City Stadium, and USA v Japan at Kingsholm.

The newly released tickets are a mixture of handbacks from the Rugby World Cup Limited commercial programme, extra seats from the venues and tickets that have been registered for resale from fans that can no longer use their tickets.

Tickets will be on sale for the following matches in the Midlands:

  • USA v Japan at Kingsholm Stadium, Sunday, 11 October, 20:00
  • Argentina v Tonga at Leicester City Stadium, Sunday, 4 October, 14:30
  • Canada v Romania at Leicester City Stadium, Tuesday, 6 October, 16:45
  • Argentina v Namibia at Leicester City Stadium, Sunday, 11 October, 20:00
