Pride of Britain Fundraiser Award winners announced

All this week we've been showcasing our Daily Mirror Pride of Britain fundraiser nominees, who put themselves out to help others and raise thousands of pounds for charity.

The judging has taken place and this evening we can reveal our winners for the East and West Midlands Fundraiser Award.

Our East Midlands winner is Sahara Fleetwood Beresford from Clay Cross in Derbyshire.

Sahara has been raising awareness of Crohn's disease and has raised £40,000 for charity.

In the West Midlands, our winner is Samrick Singh, who has raised thousands for Delete Blood Cancer and Focus Leukaemia.

He aims to get as many black and Asian people on the stem cell register as he can so they can have the best chance of treating someone seriously ill.

Samrick was diagnosed with Leukaemia aged just 18 and has so far raised £58,000 for Delete Blood Cancer UK.
