Gang members banned from Ladywood for two years
Three brothers and their friend have been banned for two years from the Ladywood area of Birmingham where they live following the imposition of gang injunctions.
Gang members Darryl Bishton, 24, along with Daman, 20, and 18-year-old Robert, may only go into Ladywood to get to their home on Guild Close.
Simieon Watson, 21, of Acorn Grove, Ladywood has been given the same restriction.
If they deviate from their route they could be arrested.A further injunction and a civil injunction were granted against two other offenders who cannot be names because of their age.
The injunctions were granted by Birmingham County Court and will remail in place until 4 January 2018.
The move comes as police say that gun crime in Birmingham has reached its 'worst level in five years.'
Shafique Shah from Birmingham City Council said he was "delighted" with the injunctions.
