Woman charged with murder after music shop owner's body found in car boot

A woman has been charged with murder after the body of a music shop owner was found in the boot of his car in Birmingham.

Tanveer Iqbal's body was discovered in the boot of his Renault Clio on Portland Road in Edgbaston on 1 February.

The 33-year-old went missing after closing up his music shop on Shireland Road in Smethwick on 31 January.

Unemployed Zatoon Bibi, from Oldbury, has been charged with his murder. The 36-year-old is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court this morning, West Midlands Police said.

A 43 year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.
