Witness appeal after man dies six days after crash

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Birmingham claimed the life of a man six days later.

Nadeem Asghar, 31, was behind the wheel of a red Toyota Corolla when it was involved in a collision with a white Nissan Qashqai at the junction of Alcester Street and Bradford Street in Digbeth, just after 11am on Friday, March 25.

The driver of the Qashqai suffered minor injuries, but Mr Asghar, from Redditch, died from his injuries on 31 March, West Midlands Police said.
