The body of a missing hiker has been recovered in the Peruvian Andes.
Harry Greaves, 29, who is from Oswestry in Shropshire was visiting friends in the South American country but went missing on April 7 after planning to spend the day by himself on a mountain.
His friends expected to see him back on April 10, the day after his 29th birthday, but he did not return.
Yesterday his family and the Foreign Office confirmed that he had died.
Rescuers believe he may have slipped. Henry Ancache, who was leading the rescue efforts said:
