A couple who got stuck on a cliffside ledge high in the Peak District were rescued by the emergency services after sending them a selfie.
The couple had climbed up a steep bank and got stuck near the top of Winnats Pass in Derbyshire.
They were saved on Sunday afternoon after sending rescue teams a selfie of their location.
Edale Mountain Rescue team said this was their first callout via a "selfie".
The pair were uninjured but very much stuck on a ledge near the top of the pass. Team members were able to access them and assist them to safer ground with the aid of a rope system.
