Police in Derbyshire have issued a fresh warning of the dangers of the mobile app after children were spotted on railway lines searching for Pokemon.

The game involves people searching for the popular characters in the real world using GPS and maps in their phones.

The Melbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team on the outskirts of Derby said the youngsters were spotted on a railway line in Swarkestone, where trains regularly travel at speeds of up to 120 mph.
