It is day four in the trial of two men charged in connection with the death of company director Akhtar Javeed, who was shot dead at a warehouse in Birmingham in February.
26-year-old Suraj Mistry from Leicester and 18-year-old Lemar Wali from Derby, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court accused of killing the 56-year-old grandfather.
This morning the jury were shown CCTV footage of the moment the attempted robbery took place. the incident led to the death of Akhtar Javeed on Rea Street South in Digbeth, Birmingham on 3rd February.
The prosecution say the two men shown in the CCTV entering the Direct Source 3 warehouse, are Tahir Zarif and Suraj Mistry.
As soon as the CCTV of the attempted robbery begins to play, the wife of Akhtar Javeed leaves court.
Both Mistry and Wali deny murdering Akhtar Javeed.
