A nine-year-old girl from Nottingham had a big surprise when she won the 2016 award for Child of Courage at the Pride of Britain Awards on ITV.
Tilly Sawford was given a five per cent chance of survival after she fell into a scalding bath as a baby and has endured more than 500 operations.
Earlier this year doctors at the Queen Medical Centre in Nottingham amputated her right leg and replaced it with a prosthetic limb.
In spite of her injuries she's undertaken incredible charity work and seeks to reassure other children facing major hurdles in their lives.
We caught up with Tilly and mum Emma after the event, where she told us how proud she was of her daughter.
