The funeral of former Aston Villa footballer Dalian Atkinson, who died afterbeing shot with a police taser, is to be held at the weekend.
A service will be held at Telford Crematorium chapel in Shropshire on Saturday, followed by a private burial at nearby Hadley cemetery.
The family said there will be a collection at the crematorium for those wishing to make a donation to charity.
The former striker died after police were called to an incident in Meadow Road in the Trench area of Telford, in the early hours of August 15 2016.
The retired footballer became unresponsive after being shot with a taser.
He died despite the efforts of hospital doctors, who battled for 35 minutes totry to save him.
An Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation is currently underway.
Two police officers have been served with gross misconduct notices and are currently suspended by the force while it continues.
