A cat who got himself stuck between two walls was freed with the help of an RSPCA officer and a bottle of washing up liquid.
The animal welfare charity was contacted by a concerned homeowner who found the cat wedged in a four-inch gap between her house and her next door neighbour’s, on Monday morning (10 April).
A Collection Officer went to the address, in Hednesford Road, Cannock, and found the cat lying on his back, unable to move.

Cara was able to pull the cat out with just a bowl of water and washing up liquid.
A microchip scan found the cat's name was Pugsy and his owner lived on the same street.
Pugsy was reunited with his owner, Fiona McCracken, who took him to the vets for a check up following his ordeal. Fiona said:
