As a new era gets underway at The City Ground, Nottingham Forest Football Clubs new owner has announced a special offer for the teams 'most loyal fans.'

In a statement Evangelos Marinakis said

"Supporters are the lifeblood of every football club, I know that last season was difficult but what has impressed me enormously is the passion and loyalty of Nottingham Forest fans. This loyalty deserves to be rewarded and consequently anyone renewing or taking up a season ticket for the coming 2017/2018 season will enjoy a ten percent discount on last seasons prices."

He added: "There are further announcements from the senior team to follow..."

The Greek businessman now owns the majority of Nottingham Forest and is also the owner of Olympiakos.

After forming an English company called NF Football Investments Limited, he and another Greek investor, Sokratis Kominakis, have purchased the full 100% of Forest's shares after approval from the English Football League.

On the game itself he said football wasn't easy but with hard work, a clear vision and a strong management team, a good coach and a committed squad, Nottingham Forest will now move in the right direction with the support of its fans.
