A derelict building in Kidderminster collapsed last night, the cause of which is currently unknown.

The Old Post Office building on Radford Avenue crumbled and surrounding properties were evacuated as a precaution.

Hereford Fire and Rescue sent three crews to the scene at 9.40pm on Wednesday. They left shortly before 1pm today.

No one was injured.

Shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday, 23 May, West Mercia Police received a report that a three-storey building in Radford Avenue, Kidderminster had collapsed. Officers from West Mercia Police provided scene guard and traffic management.
