Staffordshire swimmer Adam Peaty has won another gold medal at the Swimming World Championships in Budapest.

He recorded a finish of 25.99 seconds to retain his 50m breaststroke world title.

The 22-year-old was just outside his world record time of 25.95 seconds, set in the semi-finals yesterday.

This is only the second time anybody has finished this event in under 26 seconds.
