A carjacker who targeted a 90-year-old victim has been jailed for 32 months after pleading guilty to robbery.
Mohammed Subhan, from Hall Green, Birmingham, was one of three thugs who attacked the pensioner on 17 March, punching him to the floor and leaving him with bruising and a cut to his finger.
The 19-year-old then stole the keys to the man's Vauxhall Corsa and made off from Highbury Park in Moseley.
He was arrested nearby after a crash involving another vehicle.
Subhan was jailed at Birmingham Crown Court after admitting robbery, possession of a stun gun and aggravated vehicle taking.
We are still investigating several offences of carjacking around the Moseley area earlier in the year and will do all we can to bring the offenders to justice. >
