A cashpoint has been ramraided with a bulldozer at a shop in Coventry overnight.

Police say a group of two or three raiders used the machine to remove the ATM, before loading it into a white vehicle and driving off.

It happened at the Co-op store in Alfall Road, in the Stoke area of Coventry at about 12.25am.

The scene is cordoned off as structural engineers assess the damage to the building.

We are very keen to hear from witnesses who saw what happened, or anyone who has mobile phone or dashcam footage from the time.
