A driver suspected of a hit and run crash in which two police officers were injured, has been charged with wounding.
Anthony Potter was allegedly driving a Peugeot 207 that hit officers attending reports of a burglary in Westacre Crescent in Wolverhampton in the early hours of Saturday 4 November.
The 50-year-old, of Spur Tree Avenue in the city has been charged with wounding with intent to resist arrest, another count of attempted wounding, driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and uninsured driving.
He's due before magistrates in Walsall this morning.
A 44-year-old man and two women, aged 42 and 48, who were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been bailed.
