Three children and a woman rescued from flat fire
A woman and three children had to be rescued from a severe flat fire in Birmingham on Sunday morning.
Fire crews put ladders up to the flat above a shop in Bartley Green and bring the terrified casualties to safety.
The fire was was so severe it has caused extensive damage to the entire flat in Curdale Road.
West Midlands Fire Service were called to the two-storey flat just before 1.20am and arrived within four minutes.

All four were taken to hospital and remained there on Sunday morning.
It is believed the woman and three children suffered smoke inhalation and their conditions are not thought to he life threatening.
According to neighbours the children were aged around two, 10 and an older child who was at secondary school.
Staff at the Simply Local convenience store opposite said the whole family were regular customers.
