Overnight: Evening showers dying out then mostly dry, clear and cold, leading to a widespread frost. Some wintry showers will continue to affect more western parts, bringing a risk of some icy patches.
Today: It will be another day of frequent sunny spells, brisk winds, and isolated showers. These will remain most frequent across the Peak District, where further slight snow accumulations are possible.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Frosty start Saturday, then sunny with brisk winds easing. Frosty again overnight, before rain spreads east Sunday, preceded by hill snow. Less cold Monday, and rather cloudy, with rain possible.
