A charity from Leicester has recreated some of the most iconic dance scenes in cinema history - with dancers who have disabilities. People Dancing have posted the images online in an exhibition called 11 Million Reasons to Dance in reference to the fact that 11 million people in the UK are registered disabled. The project aims to challenge people's attitudes towards disability.
Three of the pictures are of dancer Beth Gardiner from Nottingham who is a member of the National Youth Dance Company. On National Down's Syndrome Day, Beth, who has the condition, says she wants to be seen as a dancer ahead of having a disability.
