A mother-of-five from Newark, Nottinghamshire, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of just 44 has revealed her fear of forgetting her loved ones.
Shelley Sheppard's family became concerned when she started to forget conversations and important dates - like her daughters' parents' evening.
She was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease in November 2017, and now struggles to recall simple words such as 'apple'.
Her husband Paul has to write the date and even the year on a blackboard each day before he leaves for work so she doesn't become disorientated.
