A 16-year-old completed her first parachute jump today in memory of her dad.
Jordan Shirley from Syston in Leicestershire was just six years old when her dad Daniel was killed while fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Today is the 10th anniversary of his death, and his daughter wanted to mark it in style.
A member of the parachute regiment himself for 12 years, he told his daughter that parachuting was "the best experience ever."
He was an absolutely amazing dad to me and my brother and an amazing soldier. He has been my guardian angel and he is my inspiration to get me through every day.
The money raised will go to the charity, Scotty's Little Soldiers, which supports military families with gifts at Christmas, birthdays and on occasions like anniversaries of bereavements.
