Police have released photo of a mother and her four-week-old baby after they were involved in a terrifying carjacking in Acocks Green, Birmingham.

Claire O'Neill pulled up onto the drive of her house when she was approached by two men. As she struggled to get her child out of the grey Audi A3, the pair drove off injuring her in the process.

Officers launched a search for baby Eliza and 45 minutes later an ambulance crew at Small Heath Health Centre in Chapman Road found the child safe and well still in her car seat.

The little girl was taken to hospital to be reunited with Claire, who was is recovering from her injuries.

Police are still appealing to find the car, a grey Audi A3 S Line with the registration number: BJ66 YL
