'Do not travel to London' this bank holiday, West Coast passengers told

Passengers are being told not to travel to London this bank holiday weekend, as Euston station closes for major improvement works.

According to Network Rail, passengers using the West Coast Main Line can expect a "very different journey to normal" with busier trains, diversions and longer routes.

The closure will be in place on 25-27 August and 1-2 September.

People are being urged to plan their trips on alternative dates.
