An uncle and his niece who died at a caravan park had stab wounds, a post-mortem examination has revealed.
Richard Thompson, who was 66, and 48-year-old Lisa Butler were treated by paramedics at Mr Thompson's home.
But nothing could be done to save them, and the relatives were pronounced dead at the scene in Forest Town, Mansfield on Tuesday evening.
Today, Mrs Butler has been described by her relatives as 'a much-loved wife and mother'.
Detective Inspector Rich Monk, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Following the results of the post-mortem examination, we now know they died of stab injuries and that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with their deaths. We will now prepare a file for the Coroner."
