A Staffordshire MP has made a video of himself cycling nude to try and encourage a naked bike ride in his constituency.
Michael Fabricant, who is the MP for Lichfield, posted the footage on YouTube of him cycling naked through London in broad daylight. In the video, the Conservative MP calls for the creation of an annual naked bike ride to raise money for charity.
Mr Fabricant wants to raise money for St Giles' Hospice, which is based in his constituency. The 68-year-old says the idea is a 'good way' to raise money and the event would 'uncover all sorts of parts that I have never seen before'.
He later tweeted a link to the video, saying: "I think I can say, without fear of contradiction, there is little more unpleasant than filming naked on a chilly spring morning without any clothes or a tan to make you look good."
