Car stolen from Birmingham dealership in broad daylight

The owner of a car dealership in Birmingham is offering a £1,000 reward after one of his vehicles was stolen by a man posing as a would-be customer.

CCTV shows the thief arriving at the AMH Cars on Kingstanding Road in Birmingham at around 4pm on Thursday (15th November).

He enters the office and asks to drive the VW Golf.

Moments later he inspects the car and even takes photos of it.

But when the owner turns his back, he drives off with the boot still open.

The dealership's owner values the car at around £5,000.

He is offering a £1000 reward for the vehicle's return.

The incident has been reported to West Midlands Police.
