Sports teams and officials across the Midlands will be wearing rainbow laces and jerseys as part of a campaign encouraging the LGBT community to get involved in sport.
One of Birmingham's actively gay-friendly rugby teams has been backing the campaign. The Birmingham Bulls were joined at training this week by Wasps players, Josh Bassett and Kearnan Myall.
The idea that rugby is for everyone is the focus of a campaign by LGBT Charity Stonewall.This weekend there will be rainbows on show at clubs across the country, including at the Ricoh, with some players wearing rainbow laces.
This week the Bulls met the Wasps - as two of the Premiership sides' players came to show their support - and to see what rugby means to these players.
