Disability awareness: the law student calling for change

Nirav Shah is at Nottingham Trent University, studying a graduate diploma in law. He has congenital muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair.

He's doing the three-year course in just nine months. He feels passionately about disability rights and hopes to practise in this area once he's qualified.

We asked him for his thoughts on a recognised day for people with disabilities.

But not everyone shares Nirav's views. His university disability officer Liz Silver thinks otherwise.
