A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of 14-year-old Jaden Moodie.
Moodie was stabbed to death on Tuesday 8 January in east London, after being rammed off a moped by five men in a black Mercedes B class.
He had recently moved from Nottingham to London.
18-year-old Ayoub Majdouline appeared in the dock at Thames Magistrates' Court today.
Majdouline, of Lily Gardens in Wembley, north west London, spoke to confirm his address, date of birth and nationality as British.
Three of the men are thought to have got out of the vehicle in Leyton, before Jaden was stabbed, then all five suspects fled in the car.
Majdouline, dressed in a grey tracksuit, is also charged with possession of a bladed article, namely a knife.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey.
