An ambulance worker who responded to a fire which killed four children leaves a heartbreaking message at the scene.

The message reads:

RIP you beautiful angels. I don't know you personally but I was involved in last night's incident. I work in the ambulance service and was involved in getting the correct resources to try and help save you. I am so gutted we couldn't save you all. I hope your family can remain strong and you will remain in everybody's hearts together.

Mrs Lamara Shelley

Today, police have said investigations are continuing and are likely to last into the next few days to find out how the fire was caused.

A 24-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man and a two-year-old boy all remain in hospital for treatment but their injuries are not life-threatening.
