A 30-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on the M6 southbound.

At just after 3:00 this morning police were called to reports of a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian on the M6 Southbound between junction 14 and junction 13.

There was congestion through Stone, Yarlet, Sandon, Great Bridgeford and all roads within Stafford.

Police are appealing for witnesses and the man's family have been informed. They're being supported by specialist officers.
